About Community Children's Centres
Our childcare centres are unique.
Just as every child is unique, so is every Community Children's Centre. However, while every centre is administered individually and has its own unique culture and character, we all follow the principles of 'community based' care. We focus on children, their families and communities, not on making a profit.
Community values
Importantly, our management system involves families. We encourage you to be actively involved in supporting both the centre and your child's care and education.
A safe, positive childcare environment
Community Children's Centres believe that forming strong relationships with children and families is vital to every child's learning and development. Our centres provide a safe environment and stimulating, positive experiences that foster all aspects of your child's development.
Early Years Learning Framework
Each centre has a curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework for the ages 12 weeks to school age entry.
The Framework draws on conclusive international evidence that early childhood is a vital period in children's learning and development. The Framework forms the foundation for ensuring that children in all early childhood and care settings experience quality teaching and learning.
